About Us

YYOUNG Water Co. has been in development of a new water purification technology since 2007. We officially began selling our great tasting water at the beginning of 2010. Just in time for the Winter Olympics right here in the heart of Vancouver, BC. To meet the demands of our customers we rapidly expanded into a new 6000 sq ft state of the art facility and acquired 3 new reputable water companies Oasis Springs, Eco Pur, and Columbia Water in which collectively have been in business for over 20yrs. Our water is privately labeled and bottled locally. The water we cater to our customers is not only ineluctably great tasting, but we guarantee your taste buds and mouth will not be left dry and unsatisfied like many leading brands out there. Mission statement

To provide the purest of "Naked" drinking water by bringing it back to its origin with alkalinity, high PH and ORP readings. Focusing on using environmentally safe, BPA free recycled bottles to improve customer satisfaction and going green overall. With Mother Nature’s turbulent and unexpected natural disasters, and human errors, the public must be made aware of the water we ingest into our bodies. We feel it is essential in educating our community locally and globally the importance of healthy drinking water. YYOUNG Water benefits and enhances our everyday lives and wellbeing; after all, we humans are made up of 70-75% water.

Our commitment

At YYoung Water we committed to the environment. Some of the ways in which we attempt to achieve this is by:

  • Encouraging the use of larger water bottles, over smaller single serve size bottles
Our 5 gallon water bottles are sanitized before they are REFILLED, which means the bottles are REUSED and stay OUT of landfills. Unlike small single serve sizes (500ml, 1L and 1.5L bottles) where a large quantity of the bottles make their way to the garbage and landfills without recycling. At YYOUNG we focus heavily on using the larger bottles, however in order to cater to our market we sell small bottles and offer a recycling program to ensure that these bottles do not go in our trash! We do however encourage the use of these larger bottles because they are used, and refilled, and reused again. Using these bottles is one of the most effective ways you can drink bottled water without contributing to waste.

We generally will re-use a 5 gallon water bottle for up to 60 times. 60 * 18.5L = 1,110 L = 1,110,000 mL. After preferred expiry usage we will Recycle our bottles.

ONE 5gallon bottle can replace up to 2,220 small bottles of 500 mL that are wasted and thrown to garbage into the landfills. For instance, just to give you an idea of how fast this can add up and take up our landfills by irresponsible people that don't recycle their water bottles properly:

2,000 (two thousand) 5gallon bottles (Recycled after preferred expiry usage) would replace up to 4,500,000 (four million five hundred thousand bottles) of bottles that are irresponsibly thrown to garbage

  • Minimizing the use of travel for deliveries
We are structuring routes to ensure that delivery routes are filled to the capacity. This way, we can achieve the maximum level of volume of water delivered per route, which reduces the overall "per bottle" energy used to distribute water.
  • Recycling
We recycle all our damaged bottles, used caps, plastics and cardboard used in our local recycling facilities. We generate VERY little garbage waste.
